The first ‘ber month has arrived, and with it comes several different ways to earn yourself free PlayStation store credit.

With colder, darker nights setting in, we’re all looking for ways to improve our gaming sessions; after all, we’ll be spending more time indoors now that the summer has come to an end.

PlayStation has already dropped a free PS5 download that’s sure to delight players who claim it, however, there are still other freebies up for grabs.

If you’re in the market to bolster your free store credit supplies, one way to get the ball rolling is to purchase and play one of the following titles.

Thank Goodness You’re Here!, Black Myth: Wukong, Star Wars Outlaws, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles, Pepper Grinder, Visions of Mana will lead you to those digital coins.

That’s a fine selection of games to explore; however, if we may offer some advice, you definitely don’t want to sleep on the “funniest game” GAMINGbible’s Ewan Moore has ever played.

If that title really isn’t your cup of tea, you’ll still be able score yourself an easy 50 points whichever other game you choose.

However, the free credit offerings don't end there.

This next option is aimed at PS Plus subscribers; as detailed by PlayStation, ”There are more treasures to find in the PlayStation Plus catalogue.”

Aptly, you’ll need to play either Tomb Raider: Legend, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, or Shadow of the Tomb Raider to unlock the points.

Despite Lara Croft’s return being mired by backlash from fans, there’s still much love to be found for the adventurous heroine.

Especially when it comes with 50 extra points to add to your steadily growing collection.

Whether you love or hate PlayStation Stars campaigns, they deliver a means of scoring freebies on a regular basis.
