Sometimes it feels like a hassle to get the VR headset out but Sony has given you a bit of incentive with the reward of free store credit up for grabs.

There is no denying that the PlayStation VR2 is a big investment but with games such as Horizon Call of the Mountain and Gran Turismo 7 available to play on it, it guarantees hours of fun.

Check out the Horizon Call of the Mountain trailer below!

However, they are also notorious dust collectors which is why Sony is giving you the chance to dust it off and boot it up in order to get free store credit in exchange.

“Reality can be rough,” its official blog post says.

“Take a break from the mundane and play any one of these unique experiences for PSVR2 to escape reality and snag some sweet points!”

That’s right, playing one of Sony’s selected games will reward you with 50 free points if you just so happen to be a member of its PlayStation Stars loyalty scheme.

The free-to-join programme can see you rack up points by playing or buying certain games and, in exchange, these points will allow you to redeem free store credit via gift cards.

So which PSVR 2 games will make you eligible for free store credit this month?

Viable until 11 December, playing any of the following games will reward you with 50 points: Human Fall Flat, Metal: Hellsinger VR and Tiger Blade.

Human Fall Flat is a puzzle-platformer game set on a floating dreamscape and can be played solo or with up to 8 players online.

Metal: Hellsinger VR will test your rhythm by tasking you with shooting to the beat in order to make music unfold and your power grow.

Last but not least, Tiger Blade will see you unleash mayhem as you “slash and blast through heart-pounding action scenes, leaving you feeling like an unstoppable killing machine”. Very edgy.

You have just a handful of days left to earn those points so don’t miss out.
