If you want to avoid spending hundreds of pounds on the PlayStation 5 Pro, there’s a way to do just that.

You just have to be quick.

Oh, and lucky.

We don’t need to remind you that the PlayStation 5 Pro costs a fortune, you already know this.

Once you'e got your PS5 Pro, you can enjoy Marvel's Spider-Man 2's enhanced quality

What is more, the 30th anniversary edition of the console is proving even more costly.

Fortunately, you might be able to cut the queue, so to speak, and grab a PS5 Pro for free.

However, there’s a catch to this news: you need to win a competition.

It does slightly dampen one’s spirits when you need to beat thousands of other gamers to such a desirable prize.

As if that wasn’t enough of an issue to overcome, there’s also the fact that said giveaway ends in a matter of days.

Come the 10 November, your chance to get this huge freebie will be gone.

Happy birthday to us!

For the chance to win a 30th Anniversary PS5 Digital Edition, reply to this post with a photo of when you were gifted a PlayStation and tell us the story behind it. Christmas or birthday, from PS1 to PS5.

UK only. Ends 10/11. T&Cs: https://t.co/CGrme45FgP pic.twitter.com/UOn2mE2oyp

You still have time, thankfully. Unless you’re seeing this on the 11 Nov. In which case, RIP to your hopes and dreams.

To enter this competition, you need to share an image that symbolises when you first got a PlayStation, as well as the story behind it.

It doesn’t need to be of the PS1, you can share a photograph of any of the Sony consoles you’ve owned since the first PlayStation was released.

This is the time when it pays to have parents who kept every single photo of you ever taken.

To those entering, we wish you luck.

If you’re unable to join in the fun, not all is lost. Although you won’t be able to win a PS5 Pro, you can enjoy three free games that have become available to users. We understand if you need to have a little cry whilst you play them.

Remember, you only have until the 10 Nov if you want to participate in the aforementioned giveaway.

Time to find those photo albums, stat.
