Fans of the old-school PlayStation classics can rejoice as Sony has added a 2007 banger to both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

In recent years, Sony has been dedicated to bringing back some of its classic titles to its newer consoles and that is definitely the case this month as a fan-favourite has joined the ever-growing roster.

First released on the PSP and later ported to the PlayStation 2 where it has remained, Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters is widely regarded as one of the best in the franchise and still sits at an 85/100 score over on Metacritic.

“Set in the franchise's signature style sci-fi universe, players will take on the roles of both Ratchet and Clank in a journey across the galaxy full of new destinations to explore and conquer,” the official synopsis reads.

“Featuring new and returning weapons and gadgets, including the Blitz Cannon, Agents of Doom and Shrink Ray, Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters packs all of the combat and destruction fans have come to expect from the series.”

As a spin-off of the Ratchet & Clank series, Size Matters was later followed by Secret Agent Clank which could mean this one will also arrive on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

For now, however, fans are excited to dive back into the classic which will give them their much-needed Ratchet & Clank fix considering there has been no new entry since Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart was released back in 2021.

Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters arrives on the PS4 and PS5 with a few major upgrades including improved visuals and rewind and quick saving features to make the title run a lot smoother for modern-day consoles.

Additionally, it is only accessible for PlayStation Plus Premium members who have access to the PlayStation Plus Classics library.

However, if you wish to grab Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters on its own, you can grab it for around $10.
