When all the food has been consumed, and the family arguments have ruined the Christmas mood, that’s when you’ll look to these 15 games for comfort.

PlayStation users may not feel like they’re winning very often, but every now and again a bumper selection of free games is announced.

This month, PlayStation Plus members can enjoy up to 15 adventures.

If that number of games won’t keep you entertained, we fear nothing will.

Check out Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly's trailer

We say “up to” because some of the free titles on offer are for Premium members only. To avoid any potential disappointment or confusion, here’s the full list of games:

  • A Space for the Unbound
  • Biped
  • Coffee Talk
  • Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly
  • FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch
  • Forspoken
  • Jurassic World Evolution 2
  • PHOGS
  • Rabbids: Party of Legends
  • Sonic Frontiers
  • WRC Generation

Premium only:

  • Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy
  • Sly 2: Band of Thieves
  • Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves
  • Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge

If you find December’s selection lacklustre, we’re sorry to say that the January lineup isn’t much better. In truth, it’s off to a rocky start.

But let’s not think about the problems of the future – they've yet to happen. We can live in blissful ignorance for a couple of weeks yet.

All of the above titles should be available now, so don’t delay if you’ve already broken up for the Christmas holidays (you lucky, lucky people).

Before I leave, I do want to offer one additional free game, just in case you don’t like anything detailed above.

This PS offering is a “killer” freebie not to be overlooked.

If you prefer your festivities to have a slightly sinister edge, you’re going to love this experience gamers are raving about.
