PlayStation gamers urged to check out killer free game while they can

Make sure to give this one a go before it disappears forever

A brand new PlayStation Plus game is earning a lot of praise from the community, with some even urging others to play the title before it permanently leaves the service.

Thank you in advance to Tyler Fischer over on Comicbook for originally spotting the source!

Killer Frequency was added to PlayStation Plus Extra during the latest PlayStation Plus update last month, but the 2023 horror adventure game has already proved popular with folks over on the r/PlayStationPlus subreddit.

In a thread titled “Killer Frequency. Play it. Right now.” by user Nateddog21, players shared their opinions on the latest PS Plus arrival.

“I played through it last night,” commented user OkAd2464, “I at first didnt really notice it on the PS Plus segment, but i got myself to give it a try.”

“It has a really cool setting and is an short and sweet game. Really fun. The only bad thing that i noticed is that it became kinda stale, if you go for a second run.”

“I really enjoyed it,” replied user Primary_Ad5297, “sadly i'll never get the platonum for it, i hate bad endings and after getting to know everyone, i just don't have it in me to just let them die.”

The game received relatively good reviews when it was first released back in June 2023 and is currently sitting on an 82/100 for the PC version of the game over on Metacritic.

I also thought it was a lot of fun, but I am kind of inclined to agree with one of the previous commenters.

Killer Frequency took me somewhere around four to five hours to complete and, although I enjoyed my first playthrough, I didn’t feel like I’d get much out of playing it a second time.

That being said, a fun five-ish hour-long game is exactly the kind of thing that PlayStation Plus is perfect for, so I’d highly recommend giving it a go if you already have an active subscription.
