Horizon Zero Dawn Meets Elden Ring In Explosive New RPG

Wake up babe, new metal enemies just dropped

Exiledge has just secured a spot on my wishlist.

Developed by Enigmatrix, this third-person action-shooter sees players assume the role of Alter who inhabits a distant future where “colossal structures and Talos towers emerging from the sea have become humanity’s new home”.

“With the help of a mysterious girl named Zora, Alter journeys through the fractured Edge and Talos, gradually uncovering the truth behind the catastrophe of ‘that day’,” teases the vague synopsis.

It’s a journey that’ll bring Alter face to face with plenty of Otherkin, enormous metal beasts who roam this perilous iteration of Earth.

They’re perhaps visually akin to what you might find roaming the lands of Horizon Zero Dawn, albeit with the intensity and ferocity of the enemies you’ll stumble across in Elden Ring’s Lands Between.

Beyond this, there’s a lot that Exiledge is continuing to hold close to its chest.

The game did show off some gameplay at the recent ChinaJoy2025 event, featuring plenty of frenetic gunplay action.

In one of the final scenes, Alter’s companion, Zora, seemed to carry out some kind of finisher using a spear so here’s to hoping this is a functionable action and she isn’t just going to crop up in the odd cutscene.

As for when you can expect Exiledge to release, well, we simply don’t know.

The game’s latest trailer states “coming soon” which could mean anything, be it a few months or over a year.

What I can confirm is the game’s release platforms as it’s been revealed that Exiledge is to launch on PlayStation 5 and PC only.

This game may have somewhat appeared from nowhere, but it’s already captured the attention of plenty of new fans.

“Third person shooter, action-adventure with decent combat, I’m sold,” wrote one viewer of the game’s latest trailer on YouTube.

“Debut trailer of a game with actual gameplay! Thank you!” added another.

“The firearms have a good sound and some punching feeling. If this ain’t a buggy mess, I am in,” read one comment.

We’ll be keeping an eye on Exiledge, particularly for that release date whenever it may appear.
