If you’re a PlayStation gamer and after a free Harry Potter download, then you’re in the right place but you don't have long left to claim.

In September this year, Hogwarts Legacy and fans of the Wizarding World were treated to a surprise inclusion in PlayStation Plus with Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions. As the name of the game suggests, this is a multiplayer title inspired by the popular fictional Hogwarts sport.

“Your next chapter takes flight! Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of Quidditch by playing solo or sharing the magic with friends and family,” reads the synopsis of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions.

Sadly, if you were hoping to claim Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions with PlayStation Plus at no extra cost, unless you did so before 30 September 2024, that time has since passed. Thankfully, there is some good news to report, if you like free collectables.

PlayStation Stars is Sony’s free reward scheme that gifts players with points that can be redeemed against free PS Store credit, free games or digital collectables.

Once signed up to PS Stars and have downloaded the free PlayStation app, you can earn points by playing games, earning trophies or spending money on the digital storefront.

Right now, you can take part in the ‘Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions launch’ campaign which will reward you with a free Nimbus 2000 digital collectable to proudly display on your PlayStation mobile app profile.

To be gifted with the Nimbus 2000 all you have to do is opt into the campaign via the PlayStation app and then earn the ‘Everyone Starts at the Beginning at Hogwarts’ or the 'It's Not Any Broomstick’ trophy in Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions.

However, you only have until 3 November 2024 to claim the free Nimbus 2000 digital collectable.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. It will also launch for Nintendo Switch on 8 November 2024.
