The Elder Scrolls 6 be damned, PS5 gamers are getting a huge new RPG

The Elder Scrolls VI? Never heard of it. We’re too focused on getting a massive new RPG that's sure to hit PS5 players right in the feels.

We’re not saying we never want to play The Elder Scrolls VI – we’ve been waiting for years, there’s no way we’re not playing it, even if it’s bad.

However, it’s not like it’s going to launch any time soon.

This is despite a release date leak suggesting it’s closer than we’d hoped.

As fantastic as that is to know – assuming the leak is true – we’re more pumped about this PlayStation 5 RPG.

It’s a remake of a classic.

After 23 years, Gothic is returning.

We can scarcely believe it, yet 2024 is the year that its comeback begins.

Furthermore, a first look at its immersive world has been shared on YouTube, and oh my goodness, does it have us eager to return to its dark and foreboding universe.

“Prisoners, it's time to face reality and embrace your fate.

“Make yourself at home in the Valley of Mines, a place full of danger, crime and greed. You will stay here for a very. Long. Time.”

Reading that is enough to get the juices flowing, but seeing it is another matter entirely.

Needless to say, fans are losing it over this reveal.

Fans have been waiting “for years” to see this announcement.

Currently, there’s no specific date of release.

Still, with this teaser now out in the open, and the promise of the remake coming to consoles and PC, we suspect we won’t have long to wait.

Definitely not as long as waiting for Bethesda to get itself into gear.
