Fans of Cyberpunk 2077 who want to show off their love for the game will be able to do so later this week as Sony is releasing a bunch of freebies to enjoy.
Let us face it, one of the most important parts of the cyberpunk genre is the aesthetic as the futuristic setting gives birth to all manner of body modifications and unique identities.
Being able to customise your look and your aesthetic is a key part of expressing yourself and Sony is allowing you to do just that.
Well, for your PlayStation 5 at least.

From 5 August onwards, Sony is adding a batch of free PSN avatars to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the PlayStation Plus programme.
“As we announced a couple of weeks ago, the PlayStation Plus 15th anniversary celebrations are still going strong, and we’re excited to reveal a few more surprises!” The official PlayStation blog post reads.
“Starting August 5, PlayStation Plus members can claim a special set of 15th Anniversary Avatars, featuring fan-favorite titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy, Diablo IV, God of War Ragnarök, and Twisted Metal, all available at no additional cost.”
As you can see, Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be one of the games celebrated by receiving free avatars and we can only imagine what the options will include.
Perhaps Johnny Silverhand himself? Male/female V? The multiple love interests or maybe Reed or Songbird? The options are endless and Sony is keeping them close to its chest right now as we have no idea what will be included.
Customising PlayStation profiles used to be a much bigger deal back in the days of the PlayStation 3 but Sony has seemingly taken a backseat with this since the launch of the PS4 and PS5.
However, with players loving nothing more than to celebrate their favourite games wherever they can, these PSN avatars may just be the perfect addition.
