Now over 10 years old, The Witcher 3 has proven to be the game that keeps on giving thanks to the various new content updates and mods available for the game.
Not only is CD Projekt RED’s masterpiece filled to the brim with quests, activities, and hidden Easter eggs to uncover, but the game’s massive modding community is also providing new ways to engage with it.
And now, The Witcher 3 has a new free overhaul that is just what we need while we wait for The Witcher 4.
'Witch Hunter NPCs Overhaul' is a new mod by creator Karkulizin that does as you would expect—it overhauls the Witch Hunter NPCs you can encounter out in the world with new textures, colours, and behaviour tweaks.

The full list of changes is actually pretty massive, but the mod includes improved details to the textures for the hunters’ clothing, fixes to clipping errors, as well as some corrections that make sense with the game’s lore.
There have also been some fixes to Caleb Menge, the leader of the Witch Hunters encountered during the Pyres of Novigrad and Count Reuven's Treasure quests.
Menge now has slightly altered colours on his uniform, as well as a fix to the coat of arms on his pin.
The mod also makes some other, smaller alterations, such as making the Witch Hunter Officer in Oxenfurt prison be slightly more difficult to defeat, and making beaten Witch Hunters now have bloody faces.

Be sure to check the mod out if you’re in the middle of overhauling your game to look prettier. Karkulizin has also made mods that make similar tweaks to various main story characters such as Triss, Dandelion, and Yennefer.
You can download 'Witch Hunter NPCs Overhaul' now from Nexus Mods. Obviously, only PC players can install and use this mod in their playthroughs.
