If you have ever wanted to combine the farming sim life with the life of a treasure-hunting assassin, then this brand-new RPG is not one to miss out on.

Combining the pixelated art style and life of a farmer found in Stardew Valley with the high seas action of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, this brand-new farming sim is guaranteed to take your fancy.

Developed by YawningDad and released on 13 January, Dreaming Isles will need you to “grow crops, grow ammo, grow a backbone” as you side with the pirates or help restore the Global Trade.

As you set sail for adventure, you will feed the islanders, forge relationships, find romance and call them ‘scurvy dogs’.

“You're a lost mariner, tossed upon the shores of an abandoned island,” the official synopsis reads.

“This was once a farm, and perhaps it could be again.

There are other islands around you to explore, and many people to meet and share your time with.

But not all is well in the Dreaming Isles. The warring factions of pirates and trade vessels have caused strife for the islanders. They need your help to find their way again.”

In Dreaming Isles, you will embark on a farming life sim adventure with high seas exploits as you combine swords and sorcery to mark your own path.

When you are not farming the land or sailing the seas, you can find some time for romance and with eight islanders to choose from, you may see yourself playing Dreaming Isles multiple times.

“Dreaming Isles is a wholesome farm life sim that combines high seas adventure, relationship building, Zelda-like exploration, and sword & sorcery.

Grow your farm, win the hearts of the Islanders, harness spell stones, fight monsters, side with the Pirates or with Global Trade, and explore the world of the Dreaming Isles.”

Dreaming Isles is now available to download on PC and Mac so if you want to take to the high seas and plant some crops, this is the game for you.
