Sometimes you know a game is an absolute banger. You just... know.

Before anyone played Star Wars Genesis, we were all excited at the prospect of playing a Star Wars game of its calibre.

No offence to Star Wars Outlaws – it does some things really well – but it doesn't scratch that itch like we’d hoped.

Star Wars Genesis isn’t your average game.

Most notably in the fact that it’s a “total conversation” of Starfield and thus it’s not exactly a unique experience.

Starfield launched its Shattered Space expansion earlier this year.

That being said, the modder who’s heading the project, DeityVengy, has done an incredible job of making it feel like an authentic part of the Star Wars universe.

Some people are only buying Starfield so that they can play Star Wars Genesis.

“This is the reason I bought Starfield and now I will never call it Starfield again and I will NEVER delete Star Wars Genesis,” shared @LordPryde.

YouTube user @remixergamer2465 said, “The entire atmosphere is beautiful. The modding community shows why they make games 100x better.”

It doesn’t always work out for the best, as you’ll know if you’ve had to see the unsavoury mods that pop up on certain games.

Nonetheless, while there are a few bad eggs, the majority enhance our experiences instead of tarnishing them.

With Star Wars Genesis continuously getting “better and better”, there might not be a reason to return to a vanilla Starfield playthrough...

Even if you do decide to give Bethesda’s sci-fi RPG another chance, it won’t stop this new Star Wars game from being one of the best Star Wars experiences we’ve seen in recent years.

The project shows no signs of slowing down, so we anticipate more comments gushing with praise as each new update is released.

“Absolutely incredible! The potential here is endless! I dream of getting all ships from SW Squadrons in here and many more unique SW armours and costumes!” posted @malchev86.

The PC specs you need to be aware of are included in the caption of the YouTube video.
