Skyrim fan project adds epic new spells, download for free now

Skyrim meets Dragon's Dogma

A brand new mod has added four incredibly beautiful spells to the world of Skyrim, for you and your enemies to wield in combat.

“Elemental Mastery Magic” is a new offering from well-known mod author Kittytail, who has been adding stuff like this to Bethesda’s Skyrim for years at this point.

All of their mods, such as Sonic Magic and Constellation Magic, share the same unifying trait: they are absolutely incredible to look at.

Elemental Mastery Magic is no different, as the four new spells the mod adds look phenomenal. Like seriously, someone needs to hire this mod author ASAP.

The four new spells include Diamond Splash (a staggering ice spell that pelts the enemy with magical pillars), Flame Storm (it's a huge flame tornado, I shouldn't have to explain why that's cool), Supercharged Sprites (it summons cool little electric buddies to fight for you) and Chaos Furnace (this one is basically just a nuke).

Now all of them are absolutely busted in their own right, but they’re balanced in two unique ways.

Firstly, the charging time on these bad boys is like something straight outta Dragon’s Dogma. They leave you incredibly susceptible to attack, so you better be ready to take a beating if you want to cast one of these.

The Elder Scrolls fans may want to check out the upcoming Avowed.

Secondly, your enemies can get ahold of these spells too. Summoning a huge flame tornado seems awesome, until you’re on the receiving end of one.

As expected, the folks in the comments are impressed with what Kittytail has put together.

"Crazy quality. Spells look like better than in new games," commented user hoskope.

"Kitty, you have outdone yourself, incredible vfx. Just wow," replied user UlyssesPride.

Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of Kittytail’s mods. I think it’s fair to say they create the best custom spells for the game, both in terms of utility and looks.

Hopefully, Bethesda reaches out and offers them a job at some point, because they deserve it.
