Saints Row 2 players can finally download console-exclusive DLC on PC, thanks to a new mod.
In the year after it had originally launched, Volition treated Saints Row 2 fans to three downloadable content packs that added new story content, customisation options, and multiplayer maps.
The catch? These DLC packs were only released on console, being exclusive to PS3 and Xbox 360. If you’d picked up the PC port, which came out around three months after the console versions, it wasn’t possible to get them.
Well, if you didn’t have a console or were unable to cough up the Microsoft Points for them (remember those?), this new mod allows players to check out the console-exclusive DLC on the PC version of Saints Row 2.

The mod (thanks for the spot, PC Gamer), is simply called PC DLC and does exactly as it says on the tin.

“This is a project that ports over all of the SP DLC content - this includes the clothing, NPCs, vehicles and missions from Ultor Exposed, Unkut & Corporate Warfare,” reads the mod description over on SaintsRowMods.com.
Mod developer Tervel1337 adds that “MP content might come at a later date, but the co-op functionality works and you can play the missions with a partner.”
In addition to that, the mod features fixes for oversights with the original DLC, such as “arc-based unlocks being instantly received” and “issues with the vehicles that were never noticed” along with much more.
While the mod still has some issues, Tervel1337 has acknowledged that “we're not a huge team and despite all of us having tested it as well as having additional testers, it's possible there might be some issues with the port project we're not aware of”. \\
In any case, they recommend reporting any bugs you come across so they can be fixed in future patches.
If you want to play the DLC on your PC copy of Saints Row 2, there are a few requirements.
For starters, you need a vanilla copy of the game. Having other mods installed may cause compatibility and loading issues, so it’s best to do it with a fresh copy installed.
The same goes for having a clean save, where issues may arise from having a modded save depending on what mods you’ve used. In any case, starting a fresh playthrough is highly recommended.
Finally, you’ll need Juiced Patch 9.0.0+ added to the game as well, which essentially introduces a load of new fixes to Saints Row 2, cutting out the jank that the original PC port had as well as adding new compatibility for mods.
