Red Dead Redemption 2’s most innocent character, Jack Marston, goes on a killer rampage, but it might not be what you expect.
Released in 2018 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2 is a prequel to the 2010 game, and much like its predecessor, is considered to be one of the greatest video games of all time.
In Red Dead Redemption 2, we play as Arthur Morgan, a leading member of the infamous band of outlaws, collectively known as the “Dutch van der Linde gang”.

In said gang is John Marston, the protagonist of 2010’s Red Dead Redemption. What’s more, John’s joined by his wife Abigail and their young son, Jack, who at the time in the prequel is probably about four years old.
Jack Marston is an unplayable character in Red Dead Redemption 2, well, at least officially. But thanks to the talented modding community, you’re able to play as the budding young outlaw.
However, as brought to our attention by Dexerto, a particular mod not only allows you to play as Jack Martson, but equips him with a deadly tomahawk.
Checks notes; sorry, you don’t play as Jack, and he doesn't use a tomahawk, he is the tomahawk!

As seen in a video from 11 minutes and 50 seconds in, YouTuber Blub shows Artur Morgan throwing poor Jack at unsuspecting NPCs, resulting in an instant kill. Could Jack Marston be the deadliest weapon in Red Dead Redemption 2? Maybe.
As explained by Blurb, the idea of using Jack Marston as a tomahawk was suggested by his audience.
“So lately on my YT, I’ve been doing a video series where my viewers come up with their worst mod ideas,” he told Dexerto. One viewer in particular requested him to “Throw Jack like a tomahawk.”
Going the extra mile, when Blub implemented ragdoll physics for Jack, it seemingly made him more powerful than we could have imagined. “Jack is invincible,” the YouTuber declared.

Sadly, as is the nature of most mods, being able to use Jack Marston as a tomahawk is a PC exclusive.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is backwards compatible on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
