James Bond’s return to gaming is almost upon us, with 007 First Light due to launch across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC on 27 May.

The game retails for the industry standard of $69.99 / £59.99 but you could, as spotted by PCGamesN, secure a copy for just $1.

That’s because 007 First Light has made its way into Fanatical’s current Mystery Egg Bundle offer.

It’s an offer we’ve highlighted before, but 007 First Light appears to be a new addition.

Essentially, the offer is a lucky dip for PC users with AAA game codes up for grabs.

“With over 500 games available, you can select up to 30 Steam keys - the largest bundle tier we’ve ever introduced, exclusively for the Mystery Egg,” the bundle’s listing reads.

“From blockbuster AAA titles to hidden indie gems, there’s something for every gamer, with greater savings the more you choose.”

If you purchase one mystery key, it’ll set you back just £1 / $1.

You can secure five mystery keys for £4.79, 10 mystery keys for £7.49, 15 mystery keys for £10.79, 25 mystery keys for £16.99, or 30 mystery keys for £19.79.

007 First Light,
IO Interactive

It’s total luck as to what you end up with; that’s the whole point of a mystery bundle.

You could end up with AAA bangers like 007 First Light, Crimson Desert, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, Pragmata, or The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered for as little as $1.

You can even bag hardware, including “premium VR headsets” or Steam Decks, as well as Steam Gift Cards, Fanatical Store Spends, and “golden eggs with games worth a staggering $1,000”.

Let’s be honest though, even if you ended up with 30 indie games for £19.79, that’s still a wildly good deal, with each game costing you less than 66p.

All game keys in the offer are redeemable on Steam.

The offer looks to be running for another couple of weeks, so you’ll want to get your order in before Wednesday, 3 June.

We’ve Been Hands-On With 007 First Light, And It’s Very Promising

“After over three hours in 007 First Light’s preview build, I’ve come away even more excited for the full release,” we said.

“The three-and-a-half hour preview took us through three missions from the full game: the opening prologue in Iceland, an MI6 training section in Malta which acts as the game’s tutorial, and a larger mission set in Kensington blending open-ended sandbox design with linear action and stealth segments.”

We continued, “As someone with over 3,000 hours in the Hitman games, and also hugely into the Bond movies, I never assumed that IO Interactive would fumble the licence. But I never realised just how much I'm up for a new James Bond game, so long after the last one was released. I even think this may be the best one since GoldenEye 007 on the Nintendo 64.

“I’m already excited to jump in and play some more to see if the rest of the game matches what I’ve played so far, and it’s reassuring to know that at least I won’t have to wait long to do that.”
