Epic Games is offering two more free games to add to your library, RPG and platformer fans will want to pay attention to this one.

Without any further delay, check out Black Book and Dodo Peak below, free on the Epic Games store right now.

We recently visited the real-life SS Anne from Pokémon! Check it out below

First, is Black Book, a dark RPG that’s based on Slavic mythology and folklore lore. The description reads: “Fight evil forces in card-based battles and explore the world, where humans live alongside mythological creatures.”

Taking control of a young sorceress, the player will need to collect a variety of spell cards and build a powerful deck, used in intense card battles with demonic enemies. You’ll also be solving puzzles to progress, as well as enlisting the help of untrustworthy demons to assist you on your quest.

It boasts a gorgeous art style that presents the Slavic themes really well, and it was highly praised by fans and critics for its visuals and gameplay. Receiving regular scores of 9/10, the RPG is a must-play for those who are fans of card games, games that adopt different cultures/lores, or those who fancy trying something new.

Next is Dodo Peak, described as ”a throwback to the classic arcade platformers of the past with a modern twist”, where you’ll play as Dodo bird parents on a quest to save their children.

Players have to hop or the mountains, avoid enemies, pick up the occasional power-up, and collect their kids without going extinct. In a weird way, it’s reminiscent of Que-Bert, in the sense you can only hop in four directions and will have to time your jumps well to not get caught.

Both games can be claimed and downloaded for free on the Epic Games Store. Those interested only have until the 24th of August to claim them, so better act fast before they return to full price.
