Last week saw millions of Hogwarts Legacy fans left feeling disappointed after Warner Bros. revealed that it had cancelled the upcoming DLC and extended edition of the hit RPG.
Put simply, that means that other than the Hogwarts Legacy sequel which is reportedly being developed, there will be no other upcoming content for the Harry Potter-inspired RPG, despite fans complaining of a content drought since the game first released in 2023.

With just a small cosmetics update and the addition of a Photo Mode, Warner Bros. and Avalanche Software has offered no DLC content for Hogwarts Legacy so it has been up to its dedicated fanbase to keep the game alive.
That is the case for hisroyalbaguettes over on CurseForge who has created the Hermit’s Hollow mod.

The free-to-download content features a new mini-dungeon hidden within the game’s open world, intense combat encounters, the ability to unlock the Tempus Mutatio spell - which allows you to gain speed whilst slowing foes - and even additional lore to uncover.
“The Hermit’s Hollow, a forgotten cavern shrouded in mystery,” the official mod description reads.
“Once home to a reclusive spellcaster named Eadric, the hollow has now fallen into the hands of marauding goblins and poachers. They have stolen a powerful lost spell — Tempus Mutatio, a time-warping enchantment capable of slowing enemies while granting the caster incredible speed. It can also be used to quickly navigate around!”
The brand-new quest can be unlocked upon completing Professor Hecat’s first assignment and the dungeon itself is located in the Feldcroft region.
