Hogwarts Legacy gives the Harry Potter fans out there the chance to live out their magical dreams by finally experiencing what it would be like to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
First released back in 2023 by Avalanche Software, Hogwarts Legacy is a Harry Potter-inspired RPG which takes place over a century before the events of the J.K. Rowling novels.
Players will take on the role of a Hogwarts student, being able to choose their own house and even which path they will follow, even if that means turning to the Dark Arts.
Hogwarts Legacy was a critical success when it was first released and went on to become the best-selling game of 2023, receiving a nomination for Game of the Year at The Game Awards.

However, due to a lack of additional content since launch, fans have been left feeling disappointed, especially as DLCs and extended editions have been rumoured before ultimately being cancelled.
We do know that Warner Bros. and Avalanche Software are working on a Hogwarts Legacy sequel but with it not expected to launch for many years, it is back to square one when it comes to the wait for new content.
However, thanks to Sh4ii over on CurseForge, players can now add a twist to Hogwarts Legacy by having the option to play the whole game via first person.
At the moment, only a third-person mode is available for the RPG but downloading this mod will allow you to immerse yourself in the magic even more, and better yet, it is completely free.
First Person aims to allow players to “play the game through a new perspective” and can also be toggled on and off. Of course, you will need a PC to use this mod.
The mod has garnered almost 10,000 downloads so it is safe to say that fans are loving this new way to experience Hogwarts Legacy. Give it a go yourself.
