Hogwarts Legacy: Doomland is free to download right now

With the news that Warner Bros. has cancelled both the paid DLC and unannounced definitive edition of Hogwarts Legacy, it is a sad time for fans of the Harry Potter-inspired RPG.

With both releases planned to be released later this year and finally giving Hogwarts Legacy players some much-needed content, last week saw Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier confirm that the projects had been cancelled.

Now left in limbo and unsure what is next for the Harry Potter-inspired RPG, players are left with no new content so it is no surprise that many of them are turning to the community’s creators.

Luckily, thanks to infinitumentllc over on CurseForge, there is now a brand-new DLC to get stuck into and better yet, it is completely free to download on PC.

Doom Land is a free Hogwarts Legacy mod with an interesting concept indeed.

It reads: “An entrance to Doom Land has appeared, with trials & loot for the unafeared! Arithmancy Door the same every time? Not on my watch, friend o' mine! Jumping, climbing and falling too, there is only one way out now for you! Random objects, flying in the sky; Stand still too long, they will vanish - you will cry!"

It continues, "Do you have what it takes, to find the path amid doubt? Or will you give up, and too soon chicken out? Every wrong turn is a chance to try again, With riches galore, awaiting you once more, friend!”

What does this mean? Well, you will have to find out.

The entrance to this mysterious dungeon can be found in the east, along a path that is beyond the bridge and down the hill south of Hogsmeade.

However, be aware that the Arithmancy Door Puzzle will change for each playthrough.

It is clear that completing this dungeon will reward you with all sorts of in-game items so it is worth checking out if you are feeling the Hogwarts Legacy content drought.
