Sometimes, you just need to live out your dreams in a life simulation game when they seem a bit too far-fetched for real life and luckily that is possible with this new first-person sim.

Combining the graphics and gameplay of Grand Theft Auto VI with the ability to live each day as you choose like in The Sims series, this life-sim RPG from Departure Interactive is definitely one to check out.

Check out the official Grand Theft Auto VI trailer below!

Denizen sees you make a living for yourself in a land full of opportunity where you will spend each day meeting the locals, exploring unique locations and working your way to the top.

Developed using Unity, Denizen is extremely realistic and the character you create will probably look more real than you. However, how you spend your in-game days will be completely up to you and there’s no shortage of jobs to be getting on with.

You can apply for a local job which provides you with a steady income or even pick up a side hustle and help locals in order to get a bit of extra cash.

This income can be used to buy and decorate your very own houses and apartments as well as buying new outfits at the local store or visiting a casino, club, cafe or bar to unwind after work.

Much like real life, your smartphone is your tie to the outside world and it is here you will be able to search and apply for jobs, manage your tasks and check out the local real estate. Not only that but you can play some music whilst you wander the streets and even manage your finances through the bank app.

Denizen currently sits at a “mostly positive” rating on Steam with happy fans praising its realistic graphics and endless amounts of activities to do as well as noticing its potential considering it is currently in early access.

So if you have ever wanted a much calmer version of Grand Theft Auto, Denizen may be the one for you.
