Despite everyone’s focus still being on GTA VI, there’s something to be said for Rockstar Games’ earlier GTA titles. Just think of how incredible GTA IV was, and still is despite its age.

What if we told you that you can see what this iconic game looks like in Unreal Engine 5? We know it’s only a fan-made trailer but still, it’s worth watching if you’re a longtime GTA fan who holds GTA IV in high regard.

Don't forget to watch the GTA VI trailer to see if you can spot any hidden details we've missed.

The concept trailer looks stunning. If the upcoming GTA VI looks similar to this, there will be many happy Rockstar gamers. As fans who believe GTA IV is underappreciated when compared with other titles, we could cry happy tears seeing Nico look all shiny and new.

It’s the stuff of dreams, as one fan said: “So this is what the dream feels like. This is the remake we've longed for.” Another added, “This was f**king incredible. I'm sure I'm one of the few that thinks GTA IV was better than GTA V in just about every way. I still play this game today.”

Seeing a favourite game we’re nostalgic for get remastered not only gets us excited about that particular game, but also the future of the franchise in general. Despite being at least a year away from GTA VI’s launch, we can’t help but still search for clues regarding its content.

A topic of interest is the map size, with a leak suggesting the map will be even bigger than we first anticipated. With so many impressive open world details still getting leaked, we're concerned we might explode when the title actually launches.

The only way GTA VI can be beaten is if Rockstar gives us want we want and turns the Unreal Engine GTA IV concept into an official remaster. It’s highly unlikely, especially with Red Dead Redemption 3 likely the next game the devs will focus on.

But hey, we can keep dreaming – they can’t take that away from us!
