A new free game line-up has made its way to the Epic Games Store, and this one will save you $55.
As always, once claimed, the games are yours to keep forever. Only PC copies are available, though, and you have until July 23 at 4pm BST to claim them.
You may be able to navigate the PC loophole if you have a hybrid device like the ROG Xbox Ally.
Let’s crack on with this week’s offerings, starting with 2025 horror Luto which typically retails for $19.99.

Developed by Broken Bird Games, Luto is a psychological horror where you step into the shoes of someone who is unable to leave their home.
That’s because every attempt to do so takes them “deeper into the unknown, where nothing is as it seems and everything will test your senes”.
“Delve into an enigmatic place and explore its labyrinthine paths full of secrets. The truth has many faces, and you might not like the one you find,” devs tease.

It’s a game that mainly revolves around exploration so there’s nothing really in the way of combat across Luto’s three to five hour runtime.
It boasts an impressive score of 79 on Metacritic with 85% very positive reviews on Steam.
“One of the best horror puzzle experiences out there,” remarked one happy player, while another stated, “10/10 would recommend.”
“Atmosphere is the right amount of eerie and the story is very good and intriguing so far. Very polished graphics and nice puzzles,” read one review. It sounds like Luto is well worth nabbing for free.

If horror isn’t for you, you should get a kick out of Echo Generation: Midnight Edition which usually retails for $24.99.
This one, developed by Cococucumber, is an RPG that sees a group of kids fend off supernatural threats in a Stranger Things-esque sci-fi 90s adventure.
“Strange things are afoot in Maple Town: A mysterious crash leads you on a spooky adventure through your hometown,” begins the synopsis.
“Battle monsters, complete quests and unearth secrets to reveal a conspiracy that transcends time.”

There is combat in this game and it's turn-based, with players able to unlock additional skills by locating comic books hidden across the game.
You’ll command a party and be able to recruit companions including adorable pets which will boast their own unique attacks.
Alongside following the main story, Echo Generation features lots of side quests too as the residents of Maple Town will call on you to help with various tasks and mysteries.
Echo Generation was well-received, landing in 2024, with a Metacritic score of 75 and a Steam rating of 92%.
“Such an awesome and unique RPG,” wrote one player, with another adding, “Pretty fantastic game. 100% Recommended.”
With a runtime of around 10 to 12 hours, this one shouldn’t harm your backlog too much.
As a reminder, both games are only available to claim until July 23 at 4pm BST.
