As well as being quite decent at the development side of things, Bethesda is also well-known for publishing some of our favourite titles.

With hit titles such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and the Fallout series (from Fallout 3 onwards) under its belt, it is easy to forget that Bethesda is also the publisher behind some other epic entries.

Check out the official launch trailer for DOOM Eternal below!

That includes 2020’s DOOM Eternal.

Developed by id Software and published by Bethesda Softworks, DOOM Eternal is the direct sequel to the award-winning DOOM and the seventh entry in the DOOM series.

Advert

Eternal was a hit when it released back in 2020 and found itself nominated for five awards at The Game Awards that year.

However, if you happened to miss out on the FPS title, then you are in luck as Prime Gaming is giving users the chance to download and keep it for absolutely free.

Available from now until 13 November, DOOM Eternal is free with Prime on the Windows Store.

“Hell's armies have invaded Earth,” the official synopsis reads.

Advert

“Become the Slayer in an epic single-player campaign to conquer demons across dimensions and stop the final destruction of humanity.

The only thing they fear... is you.”

Games downloaded on the Prime Store can be kept forever so don’t miss out even if you don’t plan on playing it just yet.

In other Doom related news, the series is returning with DOOM: The Dark Ages and it will take the Doomslayer into the medieval age some time in 2025.

Advert

It is set to hit the Xbox Game Pass upon release and fans can expect a whole lot more chaos, killing and heavy metal music in the next instalment.

So now is the perfect time to experience the latest entry thanks to Prime Gaming.
