Dark Souls fans who’ve been on the fence about Dark Souls 2 should give the game another try, especially with this mod installed.

Dark Souls 2 is an odd entry in the series, as it’s the least popular by far despite, in my opinion, offering a definitive soulslike experience, at least the 'Scholar Of The Second Sin' edition anyway.

Check out Dark Souls 2 below.

We play soulslike games for the challenge, do we not? And Dark Souls 2 offered more challenge than the first game did, with more mechanics to be aware of as well as more deadly enemies/bosses, yet it’s often slated for its difficulty.

I’m not sure what everyone’s deal with the game is, but if you’re like me and actually like the game, then I’d suggest checking out this awesome mod you can install for it.

It’s called 'Dark Souls: Scholar Of The Second Sin' and it’s available right now on NexusMods, giving a gorgeous makeover to the game.

This is only a visual makeover, it doesn’t meddle with anything in terms of gameplay.

It does make me wonder if Dark Souls 2 deserves a remake at some point, something akin to what Demon Souls received for the PlayStation 5.

I’d much rather see a remake of the first Dark Souls game, but from the sound of things, we’re more likely to get a Dark Souls 3 remaster instead.

In other FromSoftware news, anyone tuning into this week’s Nintendo Switch 2 presentation will likely be just as surprised as I am that FromSoftware’s next game, The Duskbloods, will be an exclusive title for the Nintendo Switch 2; who the hell saw that coming?

The Duskbloods isn't due to launch until next year so we'll have to remain patient for now.
