This is an unexpected surprise. CD Projekt RED has teamed up with Opera GX to create a brand new Cyberpunk 2077-themed mod that’ll totally overhaul your Opera GX browser.
This is the very first official mod to come to Opera GX, and it’s totally free to download.
It doesn’t just bring the aesthetics of Cyberpunk 2077 to your internet browsing experience. The mod also includes GX Corner, a built-in VPN feature, and mod support.
Oh and, of course, there are plenty of customisation options.

I’ll begin by highlighting the epic live wallpaper which features V alongside his Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech taking in the sights of Night City.
The wallpaper reacts to the time of day, and features customisable vapour colour, in addition to glow and glare effects meaning that you can enjoy a rainy Night City or an intensified neon experience, depending on your preference.

Cyberpunk 2077 wouldn’t be the game that it is without its epic soundtrack. It’s a good job then that this browser mod just so happens to feature background music in addition to Cyberpunk 2077 inspired keyboard and browser sounds to fully immerse you in the game’s world.
There are also custom themes which you can sync up with PC RGB lighting. Compatible brands include Logitech, Razer, Asus, and Corsair.
There’s also a shader if you want to “experience mild symptoms of Cyberpsychosis,” as per the press release.
“Do we even need to say how excited we are to include Cyberpunk 2077’s genre-defining aesthetics into Opera GX?” said Maciej Kocemba, product director at Opera.
“The tools we offer our users to control their digital lives make all of them a netrunner in their own right, so their browser should look the part for a well-rounded, immersive experience straight out of Night City.”
