Nintendo Switch gamers can now get seven classic Star Wars games for less than the price of a fancy dinner.

Star Wars video games go back nearly as far as the franchise itself, and with recent releases like Ubisoft’s Star Wars Outlaws and EA’s Jedi series, it’s clear that isn’t going away any time soon.

If you’re like me and grew up during the George Lucas renaissance of the 2000s, you’ll likely be aware of the various Star Wars video games released during that time.

Star Wars returns to our screens with the release of Skeleton Crew next month.

The Star Wars Heritage Pack, a seven-game compilation of the best Star Wars games from this era, came to Nintendo Switch last year and has been a must-own for any franchise fans looking to fill out their Switch libraries.

Now, you can grab the Heritage Pack for a steady 50% discount on the Nintendo eShop and other retailers. With half-off, that brings the total price of these seven games to £34.04 in the UK (or $39.99 in the US). Roughly just under a fiver per game.

The Heritage Pack includes fan favourite The Force Unleashed, as well as both Knights of the Old Republic games, two Jedi Knight games, as well as Racer and Republic Commando. Pretty much most of the best Star Wars games released during the 2000s.

While these games are compiled together, each one actually plays quite differently. Knights of the Old Republic is an RPG, for example, while Republic Commando is an FPS. And I don’t think I need to tell you what kind of game Star Wars Racer is.

It also doesn’t include some of the other Star Wars games available on Switch. Despite also being an Aspyr release, Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection is sold separately.

Since the Nintendo Switch likely won’t be getting Outlaws or Jedi Survivor due to the hardware requirements, the Heritage Pack is the best alternative for any nostalgic Star Wars fans wanting the handheld experience.
