Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen players can perform an easy infinite money glitch, but you might want to take advantage of it now before it’s too late.
This year, Pokémon celebrates 30 years since it was first launched on the Nintendo Game Boy in 1996 with Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow. Since that time, the series has gone from strength to strength and is one of the most popular names in all of entertainment.
Recently, Nintendo re-launched Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen - remakes of the original Kanto games, first released over 20 years ago in 2004.
These titles are straight ports, meaning it's very likely that all the infamous bugs and glitches remain in the Nintendo Switch release. There's one glitch that can really save your wallet - an infinite money glitch in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. If you need to stock up on Super Potions and Pokeballs, this glitch might help you out.

Take Advantage of This Infinite Money Oversight
Back in the day, there was no such thing as a post-launch patch, especially on the GBA. When a game launched, that would be it, bugs and all.
In a worst-case scenario, a game might have been recalled if it was that bad, but for the most part, you’d be stuck with what you bought, for better or worse.
There is an infinite money glitch that you can take advantage of right now in the Nintendo Switch versions of Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, as demonstrated by the YouTuber, zDarko98.
This glitch only requires that you play through enough of the game to make it to Cerulean City. Heading out of the town North, towards Bill's House, you'll need to beat the five trainers on Nugget Bridge, and face off against a member of Team Rocket on Route 24.
The Team Rocket member will give you a Nugget, which sells for $5,000 Pokedollars.
After he gives you a nugget, you then need to lose the battle against him on purpose. Once you blackout, visit him again, and he keeps giving you nuggets.
Rinse and repeat until your heart's content. Hopefully, this glitch won’t be nerfed by Nintendo.
Later today at 2pm UK time/6am PST, there will be a special Pokémon Presents Showcase to celebrate its 30th anniversary on the game's official YouTube channel.
We've got Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen as standalone games - will we finally get classic Game Boy titles on Nintendo Switch Online?
Only time will tell.
