Two free titles are currently available through the Nintendo Switch for a limited time, and Star Wars fans are going to want to check out what’s on offer as soon as possible.
Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can get their hands on some limited-time Star Wars games up until 6 May, including one that only just dropped.
“#NintendoSwitchOnline members! From 4/30 at 10 a.m. PT to 5/6 at 11:59 p.m. PT, you can download and try two select Star Wars games at no additional cost,” revealed the Nintendo of America Twitter account on Tuesday.

“#NintendoSwitchOnline members can earn 100 #MyNintendo Platinum Points by participating in this Game Trial. Learn more by clicking the Nintendo Switch Online icon on HOME of your #NintendoSwitch system.”
The two titles you can currently grab through the event are STAR WARS: Bounty Hunter and Star Wars: Episode I: Jedi Power Battles, two classic Star Wars titles that both released in the early 2000s.
Tales of the Underworld drops on 4 May on Disney Plus.
However, it appears that the version of Star Wars: Episode I: Jedi Power Battles that you can play through the event is actually the 2025 re-release of the game.

The remastered version of Star Wars: Episode I: Jedi Power Battles includes a bunch of new content, including several new characters that are only available in the new version of the game.
It might be worth checking out even if you didn’t like the original game, just in case all the new additions may change your opinion (especially when you can try it out for free).
These free titles are only available to play up until Monday, so make sure you try them out as soon as possible in case you want to buy the games permanently after the trial runs out! At the very least I can confirm that STAR WARS: Bounty Hunter is a lot of fun, so I’d suggest trying that one out first if you’re strapped for time!
