Recently, the Nintendo Switch 2 dock was leaked by several people in the industry describing it in detail with some even getting their hands on prototypes.

After a report on The Verge, who said the dock was “legit” fans have been quick to comment on the design with most of them happy with changes.

In a Reddit thread, fans are discussing the changes and additions to not just the dock but the console itself, with many feeling happy with the direction Nintendo has gone.

There are plenty of images floating around Twitter, and the fans are gobbling them up in the void left by Nintendo not announcing anything.

Of course, most fans are just desperate for Nintendo to make things official - we’re tired of waiting at this point.

“I just want Nintendo to announce the console so we can finally put all this to rest,” said Correct_Refuse4910.

“I'm tired, boss,” said another fan, imitating the classic line from The Green Mile.

The new Switch reportedly has a U-shaped kick stand at the back, and magnetic Joy Cons with drift-less sticks.

The dock itself is pretty basic still and has a no frills design with the usual HDMI port, USB-C inputs and an ethernet port seen on the OLED version of the Nintendo Switch.

One fan reports that, “the dock allegedly has feet on the back in case the dock ends up on its back to still allow airflow from a fan/s.”

This would allow for the Switch dock to be used flat rather than vertically, which suggests the console clicks into place in the dock now.

Of course, take all of this with a pinch of salt because until we get a proper reveal it’s still all based on hearsay and prototypes, no matter how “legit” it all seems.
