Nintendo quietly revives 2 N64 classics we never thought we'd see again

These are two N64 greats

Nintendo has just dropped two N64 greats that we never expected to see today.

Other than access to online multiplayer, the best feature of subscribing to Nintendo Switch Online is the vast library of retro classics for the NES, SNES and Game Boy that includes the likes of Super Mario, Metroid, The Legends of Zelda and more.

Check out the Shadow Man Remastered trailer below!

However, if you subscribe to the upper Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion tier, then you will have additional access to N64, Game Boy Advance and SEGA Mega Drive classics.

Furthermore, you’ll also be gifted with expansions for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Splatoon 3 with an active subscription.

This week, Nintendo has dropped two new additions that you’ll be able to play with Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion with Shadow Man and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil.

It’s worth keeping in mind that these are not the remastered versions of the games, but it will be great to take a trip down memory lane nonetheless.

Turok 2: Seeks of Evil was originally released in 1998, a year after the original game. As for Shadow Man, this was originally released in 1999 for PC, PlayStation and Nintendo 64 before arriving on SEGA Dreamcast.

“You really put Shadow Man on N64 Mature? OMG, now we need Conker’s Bad Fur Day and Resident Evil 2 and this app would be perfect,” said Twitter user MintyBoi1401.

“Both games I friggin ate in the '90s, so epic!” replied an excited Flexyooo.

Shadow Man and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil are available to play now via Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion.

Hopefully, Nintendo will answer the pleas of fans and bring Conker’s Bad Fur Day and Resident Evil 2 on the service in the coming months. We’ll have our fingers crossed.
