Nintendo has just dropped four retro games that you can play today if you subscribe to its online service.
If you subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online, then you have access to a plethora of fantastic retro classics from franchises such as Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong, Metroid and many more.

If you subscribe to the basic tier, you’ll not only have access to online multiplayer but also games from the NES, SNES and Game Boy. However, if you subscribe to the Expansion tier, you’ll be able to play additional games from Game Boy Advance, Nintendo 64 and the SEGA Mega Drive.
What’s more, with Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion, you are also able to download DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Splatoon 3 as well as other bonuses at no extra cost. Regardless of the tier that you subscribe to, you’re bound to find something that tickles your fancy.
With that in mind, Nintendo has just revealed four more SNES games available for both tiers of Nintendo Switch Online and it features some bangers, which includes two that were previously unavailable in Europe, until now.
Those games include Battletoads Double Dragon and the racer, Big Run. As for the two games previously unavailable in Europe, they are Cosmo Gang The Puzzle and Kunio-kun no Dodgeball da yo Zen'in Shūgō.
I can't wait to play Battletoads Double Dragon which I’ll no doubt soon regret when I remember how difficult arcade games of the 90s used to be. To access the four new games, simply fire up the SNES app via the Nintendo Switch home screen.
As for what else we have to look forward to on the Nintendo Switch, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom arrives later this month on 26 September.
