Legend Of Zelda free download available now, but you've under 24 hours

If you want to claim some free The Legend of Zelda downloads on Nintendo Switch then you’re in the right place, but you need to act fast.

When it comes to legendary video game franchises, it doesn't get much more legendary than The Legend of Zelda. After all, it’s all in the name and it’s been a popular Nintendo series for decades with no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

The latest game in the series is The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom which scored quite favourably on Metacritic with a respectable rating of 85.

In our review of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, we said: “This is a magnificent adventure that whizzes and pops with imagination, and proudly stands shoulder to shoulder with the very best of Link’s tales. If this is the Switch’s final Zelda game - and surely it has to be - then we’re going out on a high.”

Brought to our attention by the Twitter account NSO Icons Alerts, you can claim free The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom icons right now to proudly display on your Nintendo Switch profile.

However, you need to act fast if you want to claim these Zelda goodies because they will expire in less than 24 hours before the next batch of profile icons arrives on rotation. NSO Icons Alerts say that the next icons will be Super Mario Party Jamboree.

You can access the free icons via the Nintendo Switch home screen by going to ‘Nintendo Switch Online’ and then selecting the ‘Missions & Rewards’ section. Depending on which icons you choose, they will cost five or 10 Platinum coins.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is out now on Nintendo Switch. Hopefully, we’ll get another new Zelda game this year.
