We’re a matter of hours away from the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2, and it feels like we’ve been waiting for years… well, because we have.
For some, it’s been a tricky situation trying to snag a pre-order because of retailer shortages and the cost of the console, but there are opportunities to bag a Nintendo Switch 2 for free if you know where to look.
I’m here to let you know about two ways you could be in with a chance to win the anticipated console, but of course, luck will need to be with you.
The details can be found over on Reddit, with one of the giveaways happening in the NSCollectors Subreddit, as a chance to give back to the fans who have been in the community and actively participating in threads.

There are some rules to follow, but it mostly requires that you’ve been active, or are active from now on, in their Reddit threads.
“You must be an active participant in our subreddits. This means genuine interaction,” so says the organiser.
The only other requirement is that your Reddit account be in good standing, “no shady stuff.”
A second giveaway is being arranged by the same group, but over on their Discord server, instead.
Again, you’ll need to be active and participating in conversations, but for the Discord giveaway, “Server Boosters get an extra entry, doubling their chances to win!”
The actual competitions won’t begin for a while, as they’re waiting for stock levels to refill, but this gives you plenty of time to join both communities and start chatting with fellow Nintendo fans.
