Players don’t have much time left to grab the latest batch of free icons for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, featuring some of the best characters from Animal Crossing.
Every month, a new selection of icons is offered out as part of Nintendo Switch Online, allowing players to personalise their profile, showcasing their favourite game or character.
August featured a huge amount of choices, catered to both players of the new Nintendo console, and those still rocking the original Switch.
It has been a boon for fans of Animal Crossing, with a great choice of options for profile images.

You can see the full selection over on Twitter, with plenty of characters making an appearance, along with some lovely backgrounds and frames to compliment them.
Of course, you’ve got some series favourites included, along with a number of villagers, so if you’ve always had that one villager who always gets a spot in your town, you can now rep them in your online profile.
All of these options, including the frames and backgrounds, cost 10 platinum points, and if you’re new to the platform, you might be wondering what those are.
Essentially, they’re a form of currency you earn from completing little challenges within games, filling out surveys, or simply using your Nintendo Switch 2.

You can also nab some points here and there by using other Nintendo apps, so before you know it you’ll have a stash of platinum points.
Redeem a few, or grab them all, it’s up to you, and how many points you’ve got waiting.
But be quick, as you’ve only got a few days left of August, and these will be gone for good.
Hopefully, a new batch will roll around when Nintendo launches the next Animal Crossing game, that we’re all praying is soon.
