As much as we’re trying to convince ourselves that this secret chest wasn’t in this part of Hogwarts Legacy before, other players are assuring us it was.
Redditor WhiplashLiquor is the Harry Potter fan who alerted us to this new find.
“Third playthrough and just now finding this chest? Am I the only one? It's wedged outside the greenhouses,” they posted, alongside a video of their discovery.
“SON OF A BITCH,” one fan replied, which, we have to agree, is the correct reaction.

It’s part of the fun, is it not, to be reminded of how much we miss despite being so thorough...?
That’s what I keep telling myself, at least.
Now that the modern-day setting for the sequel has been officially teased, we can’t help but speculate what new secrets we’ll discover when we roam Hogwarts’ halls once more.
That’s assuming any Harry Potter fans continue to play now that this news has divided them so much.
