Hitman: Blood Money is getting a remastered re-released for Android, IOS and Nintendo Switch, launching later this year.

The enhanced version of the game was announced on Twitter by Feral Interactive, a company that specialises in porting titles to Android and IOS devices, as well as the Nintendo Switch. They’ve previously ported titles from the Tomb Raider series, Alien Isolation and many more.

The announcement tweet read: “Agent 47 goes mobile in Hitman: Blood Money — Reprisal!

“With new features and gameplay improvements inspired by later HITMAN games, the stealth-action classic makes a triumphant return on iOS & Android this autumn, and Nintendo Switch in winter! Are you ready to make a killing?”

Hitman: Blood Money was originally released in 2006 for the PlayStation 2, the original Xbox, the Xbox 360 and PC. It was re-released for modern Xbox and PlayStation consoles a few years later.

Feral Interactive hasn’t shared details of what the gameplay improvements will be, though it’ll likely involve updated controls as well as the usual graphical bells and whistles.

It was also revealed that the Nintendo Switch version of the game will be a digital download only, so there unfortunately won’t be a physical release for collectors.

Fans were over the moon with the announcement, and while many wanted to know more details such as the official release date, price point, and whether there are plans for more ports in the future, most were just happy to see the game return for a new audience.

“Damn, I remember this game. I always played this game because there were so many optional routes to go down.”

“Ohh! I didn't expect this, My Nintendo Switch is ready...”

“Feral Interactive continues to be goated.”

Preorders for the Hitman: Blood Money- Reprisal are currently unavailable at the time of writing, but are promised to go live very soon.
