Users are sharing what they’re claiming to be official GTA VI PlayStation 5 bundles, and fans are getting ticked off to say the least.

It’s been a rough couple of months for those waiting for GTA VI, as the first trailer for the game released December last year and revealed it’ll be launching sometime in 2025, but didn’t specifically say when.

Then there came the recent news that production on the game is reportedly falling behind, prompting Rockstar Games to force its employees back to office working to ensure the game gets finished on time.

Now it seems if production doesn’t get any better the game could be delayed to 2026, which not only sucks for console players, but also PC players who’ll have to wait even longer for their port.

To add insult to injury, there have been a number of people using the game to get clout, and this time we’re not talking about the Florida Joker.

Fans on Reddit recently shared their frustration with social media creators posting what they claim to be official PlayStation bundles that contain a copy of GTA VI, which is bizarre considering the game isn’t even finished yet.

Reddit user Adventure_Tim3 said they’re “sick” of seeing the posts, as well as commenters who somehow believe them to be legit.

Another point of contempt is people using AI to create fake posters, box art, gameplay and more in an attempt to mislead audiences.

That’s not to say there won’t be an official PlayStation 5 and GTA VI bundle one day, it just obviously won't be anytime soon unless someone has invented a time machine and not said anything.

All of this just makes the long wait for the next Grand Theft Auto all the more agonising, and will simply be insult to injury if it turns out the game has indeed been delayed to 2026.
