GTA VI fans are expecting a new trailer for the game in the coming weeks, especially after Rockstar Games teased there’s “more to come.”

Rockstar Games is famously a developer that likes to keep things quiet before there’s something worth showing off, as the first trailer for GTA VI practically came out of nowhere, and they’re almost always aired on Rockstar’s official channels rather than through a live show.

Now during the Golden Joystick Awards GTA VI won an award for being the most-wanted game of the year, rightly so as it’s without a doubt going to be the biggest game in 2024, though Ghost Of Yotei could potentially give it a run for its money.

A spokesperson for Rockstar Games accepted the award and teased there’s “more to come” for the game, which fans have found hilarious.

"’Developer vows to continue working on game’ Wow so groundbreaking” said one commenter, clearly unimpressed with the vague promise from Rockstar Games.

Others pointed out how funny it is that GTA VI has already won an award, and will probably win another at the December Game Awards, before we’ve even got a proper look at it. They said “We got an award for GTA VI before GTA VI,”

That said some were a bit more optimistic about the developer’s award acceptance, saying “I mean, at least we got something more, a little droplet. Props to them for actually having someone there to accept the award, that was unexpected to me.”

As for when we can expect the second trailer it feels like a safe bet to have it air sometime in December, but Rockstar could be holding off until the New Year.

The first trailer broke several records on social media, so it’d be interesting to see if the second trailer smashes those records even further.
