GTA 6 fans brace for cameos from GTA 5 protagonists

GTA V fans are thinking about what characters we could see return in GTA VI, and now we might have an idea as to how it’d look…
GTA VI is expected to launch sometime towards the end of 2025, and while Rockstar Games is keeping the details close to its chest it hasn’t stopped fans from coming up with theories and fan-made projects.

Allow me to draw your attention to a scarily good video that shows what it’d be like if the trio from GTA V, Michael, Franklin and Trevor, appeared in GTA VI.
Great timing on this video too as Ned Luke, the actor behind GTA V’s Michael recently posted a cryptic tweet teasing a major announcement that’s coming soon.
The video was posted to Reddit by Prestigious_Stand_48, and recreates the first trailer for GTA VI with GTA V characters. The original video was created by JANTSUU on YouTube.
It’s extraordinarily accurate as well as ridiculously funny, especially the caption which read “GTA 6 if it was good.”
Fans absolutely loved it, with one saying “Now THAT was fantastic. Bravo.”
Another added that it’s the “best thing that happened to this sub, after the trailer dropped lol.”
“In an alternate universe, this is what they got. A story DLC, instead of GTA Online” one fan said, but you never know, maybe that cryptic tweet from Ned Luke will turn out to be exactly what we’ve been waiting for…
All of this does beg the question of whether we’ll see any GTA V characters appear in GTA VI.
Rockstar has never shied away from reintroducing its characters, with Gay Tony and Johnny from GTA IV both returning in GTA V: Online and GTA V’s story mode respectively.
You never know, maybe when we’re roaming around Vice City we’ll bump into an enraged Trevor, who’ll turn out to be some kind of secret boss fight…
