GTA 5 star teases mysterious announcement

With the second GTA VI trailer expected to drop any day now, fans are holding on to any hints at what we can look forward to.

It has been eight months since the first Grand Theft Auto VI trailer dropped and with the Rockstar title expected to release in fall next year, we are due for our second look at the highly-anticipated game.

As of now, we know that the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series will take players back to the beloved Vice City with brand-new protagonists Jason and Lucia.

Other than the scenes featured in the first official trailer, we don’t know much more but with it being the first GTA entry in over a decade, it is guaranteed to break records when it comes to sales.

Now with the second trailer expected to drop in upcoming weeks, fans are on high alert and the excitement is building even more thanks to a cryptic Tweet by Ned Luke himself.

Luke, who played Michael in Grand Theft Auto V, took to Twitter on 14 August and posted a simple message.

“August 16th...Stay Tuned”.

The message was accompanied by five star emojis so we can only assume that this message is related to GTA and Rockstar Games.

As you can expect, it wasn’t long before fans flocked to the comments to share their thoughts, ranging from a possible GTA VI announcement to Michael finally joining Fortnite.

With the GTA V trio not expected to star in the next instalment, it could also be news that they will in fact be making a cameo.

Or it could be that Michael is going to play a bigger part in the current GTA Online.

Either way, it is exciting news and we only have one day left until we discover what Luke was referring to.
