If you intend to make the most of these GTA V surprise freebies, you haven’t got long to do so.

GTA VI may be putting pressure on Rockstar Games in a big way, but that isn’t slowing the developers down.

In fact, until 14 August, GTA V players have a selection of free content to enjoy.

And before you think you’re being duped, these freebies are separate from the previous free GTA V download we informed you about.

GTA Online might not be for everyone, especially after (what many deem) was an underwhelming experience in ‘Bottom Dollar’.

However, this update might just change your mind.

To improve on ‘Bottom Dollar’, Rockstar gives you a way to “boost Bottom Dollar’s bottom line”.

The newly introduced Bail Enforcement will generate a welcome $100,000 GTA bonus, provided you successfully capture the three most wanted on your list.

But there’s even more in-game money to make.

Sending out your members of staff to hunt down said bounties will result in “2X GTA$ this week”, as well as a new way to make additional “2X GTA$ and RP” via completing the daily wildlife photography tasks.

Lastly, you’ll tear it up and cause “vehicular mayhem” as you battle it out in Overtime Rumble.

Those brave enough to take part will receive “double rewards” until 14 August.

All eyes may be on GTA VI, but all that scrutiny isn’t making that second trailer, or indeed anything to do with it, happen any faster.

We’re starting to wonder if we’ll ever get a new trailer.

Frustrating though all this waiting around is, we’ve finally had a release date update that’s music to our ears.

It’s by no means perfect, nor will it help keep us sane while we wait around; however, it’s given us hope.

Thanks to Rockstar, hope is all we have right now.

Remember, if you intend to make the most of these August freebies, you have until 14 August (that’s next Wednesday) before they’re gone.
