Cyberpunk 2077 fans lose it over new DLC announcement

Night City's influence is spreading

Just when you think CD Projekt Red has released all the Cyberpunk 2077 DLC it can possibly think of, another expansion is announced.

Cyberpunk 2077 just keeps on giving.

Most recently, a whole host of new features were added into the game to further expand on its already expansive customisation options.

The assumption thereafter was that it would be some time before we get another announcement, yet here we are.

You can also return to Night City in Cyberpunk 2077 - The Board Game

Come 23 December, a crossover some of you have been hoping for is going to go live: Fortnite x Cyberpunk 2077.

If you thought Night City was already chaotic, wait until you see its antics combined with the mayhem of Fortnite.

To say fans are freaking out is an understatement.

User @X_Romes_X said, “Omg no way.”

Short but straight to the point, with the point being that they’re ridiculously hyped about this collab.

“JOHNNY MF SILVERHAND I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR SO LONG,” posted @yoracrab.

From the looks of things, only Johnny and V will be appearing for now.

“Exciting news! Can't wait for the Cyberpunk x Fortnite drops on December 23. The tabs and Johnny Silverhand cosmetics sound awesome!” remarked @Somun0.

However, fans are hopeful that this collab will eventually expand to introduce other characters as well.

“WE NEED PANAM,” cried @em_ksg.

Fans are already pumped up, yet it’s vital that we point out that Epic Games has yet to confirm this crossover.

With a date already given, it feels like a legitimate leak. But as we know from experience, even the most trustworthy leak can prove to be based on fallacies.

We’re only days away from finding out if this is the real deal or not.

Hold onto your hats because, if it is, the hype train is going to run itself off the tracks.
