Cyberpunk 2077: City Of Dreams is a massive overhaul you need to download

Cyberpunk 2077 players can download what can only be described as the definitive expansion for the game right now, for free.

Hopefully CD Projekt Red’s next game gets the time it needs to be good, as I don’t think anyone wants another Cyberpunk 2077 situation on their hands.

I think we’re in the clear though as the next game on CD Projekt Red’s to-do list is The Witcher IV, sacred ground for the studio

We can’t be too hard on Cyberpunk 2077 though as it wasn’t that bad at launch and nowadays is damn-near a masterpiece.

This fan-made expansion makes it even better though as it’s a comprehensive overhaul mod of several other mods, bundled together in one neatly wrapped package.

It’s called the City Of Dreams overhaul, and contains a frankly ridiculous amount of mods within.

As the overhaul creates says as well these aren’t just any old mods, they’re the work of “hundreds of hours spent building, configuring, modding, and testing to create the best cyberpunk experience possible.”

There’s way too much to cover on this so we’ll just recommend you check it out if you’re looking to level-up your Cyberpunk playthrough, or if you’re just curious to see what a difference it’d make.

As for the future of Cyberpunk 2077 we already know there’s a sequel in the works, but don’t expect it for at least a decade.

At the time of writing The Witcher IV is the next game scheduled to release from CD Projekt Red, and there’s also a remake of the first Witcher game in the works as well which will make it open-world among other improvements.

Nevertheless, just confirmation we’re getting another Cyberpunk game later down the line is exciting, though you best believe the studio will be taking as much time as it needs to make sure it’s perfect.
