Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 free download available for you to nab this week

Let the downloads begin

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has proven quite the success, and with that success comes free downloads for fans to enjoy.

Compared to Modern Warfare III’s launch, Black Ops 6 is being enjoyed by both critics and fans alike.

It makes for a refreshing change of pace for die-hard Call of Duty players.

Although the game is only days old, a free download is about to become available.

This freebie isn’t a patch for any bugs that may appear in the game, but rather a new map DLC to help enhance your experience should you have finished its story campaign already.

Although this is a new download for Black Ops 6, the content is actually a fan-favourite location many players will be familiar with.

On 1 November, Nuketown is coming to Activision’s newest release.

I won’t pretend to be a massive CoD fan, however, I know enough to recognise how exciting this download is for gamers.

Twitter user and YouTube partner @SweatyMop posted, “OMG ITS BACK YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.”

Other comments mirror this enthusiasm, speaking of how “iconic” this map DLC is.

Nuketown is a Black Ops “tradition like no other”.

Even those who’ve made barbed remarks about this download lacking originality can’t deny that the “nostalgia factor more than makes up for it”.

Not everything has been plain sailing for Black Ops 6 though.

GAMINGbible interviewed the devs about the new game, specifically discussing its controversial new setting.

This may be too similar to what’s gone before, or maybe you love the combination of new and old. Either way, Black Ops 6 has surprised many critics who’d prepared for the worst after Modern Warfare III’s poor launch.

Nuketown opens its borders to all this Friday, 1 November. Make sure you don’t miss out.
