Kai Cenat breaks down as team hit with minor allegations

Another awful Twitch saga

Kai Cenat broke down in tears on stream following the accusations that his cameraman had been inappropriately messaging minors.

The streamer known for his hilarious Elden Ring playthroughs and crazy stunts talked about the controversy last night on Twitch.

Kai confirmed the allegations himself and has since parted ways with the cameraman, known as ChrisV.

The allegations first arose through a 19-year old on Twitter who published a number of message app screenshots.

These screenshots included interactions between the user and ChrisV, with the user apparently being 17 at the time.

The victim reached out to Kai Cenant directly, saying “Chris (your cameraman) is definitely a pedo too,” before going on to say “he asked for my age, I lied [and] said 19 [because] my friends told me too. As soon as he DM’d me, I told him my real age. I thought he was gonna stop answering … Later on it turned to him being flirtatious and texting me wild s***”

Kai later revealed all of this on stream, saying “This s*** is so f****** dumb. My cameraman Chris, in 2021, he got caught talking to a minor who was 17 years old.”

The streamer continued “I reached out to the person. She showed me every single thing. It’s confirmed. I’m sick and tired of having to do s*** like this.”

Kai then said that he will no longer be associating with the cameraman, and will be “making sure s*** behind the scenes is being taken care of the right way.”

This feels like another saga in a never-ending franchise of online allegations, with MrBeast’s associate Ava Kris Tyson also being caught messaging minors inappropriately, in addition to DrDisrespect.

Kai Cenat’s content will resume as normal, but obviously with ChrisV no longer apart of his team.
