Where Winds Meet is an upcoming MMORPG that is scheduled to release on 14 November 2025, and will be launching as a free-to-play title.
Arriving soon on Steam and PlayStation 5, it’s shaping up to be an immersive experience that will pull players into a world of mystery and intrigue.

It’s likely that Where Winds Meet has flown under your radar, and that’s understandable in a world bursting with new RPGs every month, but over on Reddit, one passionate player is ensuring others get as excited as them.
“Why is no one talking about Where Winds Meet?” they ask, highlighting some of the features of the game, like player housing, dungeons, raids, and PvP.
“I am excited,” notes one Redditor in reply, though there seems to be a good deal of back and forth between users on the validity of the term MMORPG in this instance.
Another Redditor says “Looks cool” but is confused by the lack of an MMORPG tag on Steam.
It appears that there are two options of play here, with one being a standard single player adventure, and another with more multiplayer options and ability to work with others, or against them.
“I personally can't wait for it,” agrees one reply, but it’s still not clear why nobody is really talking about the game.
With so many games coming out, this one could be overlooked, but if ‘Wuxia’ games are your jam, and you like the idea of exploring a vast open-world, all for free, then it’s worth keeping an eye on this.
