Huge Mega March PlayStation Sale Starts Today But Some People Aren't Happy

We all love a bit of a bargain don't we? And video games are very often blessing us with innumerous savings throughout the year.

Usually it's PC storefront Steam which gets us all in a sweaty flap with the massive savings to be had in the multiple annual sales. However, this time it's PlayStation which has rustled our jimmies with the latest offerings in its Mega March sale. There are almost 450 games on offer as part of the sale, including many classic titles.

We recommend Greek god themed roguelike Hades which you can get a taste for in the trailer below.

Want 70% off Assassin's Creed The Ezio Collection? You got it! If you fancy picking up The Sims 4 for 88% off, they got you. How about Elite Dangerous for 75% off? Or are you more a 50% off the mind-bending Bioshock Infinite kind of guy? Whatever it is you're into, there's a big range of classic games for you to pick up.

However, not everyone is best pleased with the current fare. Coming off the back of a recent PlayStation sale which featured a plethora of hot to trot indie titles, some people are feeling frankly underwhelmed. Players in both the PS4 and PS5 communities on reddit, have been posting that the sale is looking all too familiar.

One user commented "Same s**t, different month. Seriously, everything listed in that sale has been on sale repeatedly in the past 6 months." Another followed up with "I was legit thinking the same thing. How many times can they put the same games on sale?"

Feedback on the sale wasn't wholly negative though. Many were pleased to see some savings on big recent hits. One of the best games not only of the last few years but of all time, Hades, has a tasty 20% off. While the Final Fantasy VII Remake comes at a decently delicious 60% off. Not bad, PlayStation, Not bad.
