Hogwarts Legacy is experiencing somewhat of a dormant period.
Surprisingly, Avalanche Software hasn’t particularly offered much in the way of post-launch content, with both a DLC and Director’s Cut having reportedly been cancelled.
A sequel to the hit Wizarding World release is supposedly in the works though, albeit one that’s probably many years away. Players yearn for something new but are having to settle for merely beginning fresh playthroughs.
I wish I could say I had something that made the idea of a new playthrough more enticing, but today’s discovery is merely something that’s intended only to offer a few chuckles.

I’ve extensively covered the various ‘secrets’ and ‘Easter eggs’ of Hogwarts Legacy in recent years, and I have to say that I’ve not encountered this particular find.
Perhaps that’s because you have to approach it from a certain direction with a particular mindset.
Devs Knew Exactly What They Were Doing
“Just turned a corner and saw this,” shared Reddit user The_Quackle. “They did this on purpose.”
The attached image is tagged as NSFW, but it’s essentially one of the Hogwarts Architect statue located in the Reception Hall between the Entrance and Great Hall.
You’re likely familiar with the gold statue which show’s Hogwarts’ architect surrounded by the four house mascots.
What The_Quackle has noticed is that if you approach the statue side on, the scroll that the architect is holding in his far hand is positioned in a way that it looks rather, uh, phallic.
I’m with The_Quackle. I don’t think this was an accident. Developers would’ve viewed that asset from all sides before placing it into the game, and it’s hard to ignore the giant, erect scroll protruding from the fellow’s crotch.
As you can imagine, players are having fun with this silly discovery.
“Erectus patronum,” remarked AwesomeCaden73.
“It’s Erecto actually,” added transit41.
“Wizards have staffs,” said TheMortal91.
As I said, it’s hardly worth embarking on a new playthrough to see this sight, but it’s entertaining nonetheless.
This is what it’s come to for the Hogwarts Legacy fandom who are experiencing a total drought of updates.
I can only think that Avalanche has ridiculous plans for the game’s sequel, because you don’t ignore a game that recently celebrated selling 40 million copies.
You have to assume that whatever DLC was being cooked up has ideas that’ll be recycled in the game’s sequel, because otherwise you’re putting an end to a cash cow.
When a Hogwarts Legacy is formally announced, we’ll be sure to bring that information to you.
